The Chafandin plot is planted with 40 year old Tempranillo. Small, concentrated berries with thick skins undertake malolactic fermentation in New French 300L barrels for between 16-18 months. Intense aromas of black fruit, sous-bois and a mineral, biting tannic finish. Ages beautifully.
