Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge is a great red. Gault Millau called it the “Lafite of the Languedoc”. The 2010, bottled in March 2012, is a rich velvety vintage. Black fruits on the nose develop into a fatastic palate of ripe fruit and a touch of liquorice, with an elegantly smooth finish. Can be enjoyed now and will continue to develop in complexity for years to come.
Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Cabernet Franc (6.2%), Merlot (5.3%), Pinot Noir (3.6%), Tannat (3.2%), Malbec (2%), other rare grape varieties (9.7%).
