Château Montus 2007

This wine is fermented on lees in barrels for 12 to 14 months in 50% new and 50% 1 year old oak barrels. The 50 hectares of 20 year old vines grow on very steep south facing slopes with pebbles and brown clay subsoil. Deep in colour with a complex palate of mature black and red fruits and tannin, powering through to well balanced elegant finish. A world class wine worthy of any cellar.
